    Is Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) payable on a novated lease?

    FleetPartners uses the Employee Contribution Method to structure novated leases so that employee post-tax deductions are sufficient to offset the applicable FBT. This post-tax employee contribution reduces the FBT taxable value of the vehicle, meaning FBT is generally not payable We guide you through the set-up to make sure everything is established correctly and makes sense to you from the outset.

    Yes! Currently, eligible electric vehicles can offer even greater tax savings, with the potential for the lease payments to be taken entirely from pre-tax salary due to the FBT exemption.
