Improve your fleet's performance with connected insights
The FleetPartners difference
FleetPartners has spent years helping fleets manage cost, risk and compliance across their day-to-day vehicle operations. Telematics is a natural part of that picture: a fleet management service that gives you visibility into how your vehicles are actually performing.
Often a telematics solution is set up as a separate arrangement distinct from your fleet lease. A separate contract, a separate subscription, and a separate set of bills to track. We build ours differently.
Telematics built into your fleet, not bolted on.
One contract, not two
Telematics is included with your lease as a connected service, not issued as a separate SIM plan and contract running alongside it. One in-sync agreement, one line item, less admin.
Works with leased or fleet managed vehicles
Whether your vehicle is financed through us or owned by you, telematics can be fitted to suit. On a funded contract, hardware costs are spread over the life of your lease. On a vehicle you own, it's added as a simple charge to your monthly invoice.
Data subscriptions that scale
Your data subscription is aligned to the vehicle contract, keeping billing and service management simple. As your fleet needs evolve, additional data services can be added over time, such as camera subscriptions.
Built for new and existing contracts
Already leasing with us? Talk to us about adding telematics to your existing contract. Starting fresh? It's there from day one, with installation aligned to vehicle delivery so there's no separate appointment to book.
Fleet vehicles and more
Telematics starts with your leased and owned fleet vehicles, then extends to other assets that are critical to your business, including trailers, plant equipment and other powered or non-powered assets, all in one consolidated overview.

Strategy
We design a telematics approach that fits the structure of your fleet, including which vehicles to fit, how it aligns with your contracts, and what data and reporting will actually move the needle for your business.
Pilot & deployment
We work with our delivery partner to manage the rollout end-to-end, aligning installation with vehicle delivery or service schedules so your fleet stays on the road.
Insights & action
Once your data starts flowing in, we work with you to identify opportunities to optimise your fleet identifying cost leaks, safety risks and underused assets, and making recommendations on what to do about them.
Continued support
Telematics isn't a set-and-forget service. We’re there as your single point of contact for ongoing support throughout your whole contract term, so if anything needs adjusting, you've got one number to call. We work with specialist technology partners to deliver the platform and hardware, so from where you're sitting, there's just one relationship to manage: FleetPartners takes care of the rest.
What is telematics?
At its simplest, a telematics device is a small unit fitted invisibly to a vehicle that connects to its onboard systems and a GPS receiver (as well as optional cameras), collecting data as the vehicle is driven: where it is, how it's being driven, how much fuel it's using, how attentive the driver is, and what's happening under the hood, from engine faults to idling time. The type of data collected is customised to your requirements.
Benefits / customer outcomes
Get a clearer picture of your fleet, and the confidence to act on it.
Full fleet visibility
See where your vehicles are, how they're being used, and where the inefficiencies are hiding, all in one place.
Faster decisions
Real-time data means you're not waiting on month-end reports to spot a problem. Act on what's happening now.
Confident planning
Use accurate, ongoing data to plan fleet size, vehicle mix and replacement cycles with evidence behind every decision.
Reduced admin
One contract, one telematics line item, less reconciling. Less time spent managing the management tool.
How to work with FleetPartners
Every fleet is different, and so is every telematics setup. We'll work with you to build a solution that fits your vehicles, your contracts and the outcomes you're chasing.
Frequently asked questions
What is telematics?
Telematics is technology fitted to a vehicle that can track data points such as its location, performance and how it's being driven, then sends that data to software that fleet managers can use to monitor and improve fleet operations.
Is telematics included in my FleetPartners lease, or is it a separate contract?
With FleetPartners, telematics is fitted to your lease as an optional connected service rather than issued under a separate contract. It's one lease agreement and one line item, whether your vehicle is leased from us or fleet managed.
Can I add telematics to an existing fleet contract?
Yes. Telematics can be fitted to most new and existing FleetPartners contracts, so you don't need to wait for your next vehicle order to get started.
How long is the telematics contract?
We match the term of your telematics contract to your vehicle lease so everything stays in sync.
How is telematics hardware paid for?
It depends on your contract type. For vehicles leased from FleetPartners, the hardware cost is spread across the life of your lease. If you own your fleet, telematics appears as a straightforward charge on your monthly invoice.
What technology powers FleetPartners' telematics solution?
FleetPartners' telematics solution is built on Geotab's global telematics platform, supported locally by Geoforce, who help with delivery, support and getting the most value from the system day to day. You don't need to manage either relationship yourself; FleetPartners is your single point of contact throughout.
How do I access my telematics data and insights? Is it through your existing portal?
The system is accessed through the purpose built Geotab portal. Full training will be provided to your relevant team members as part of the deployment.
Is the data that comes from the system integrated with my existing reporting?
The system is accessed through the purpose built Geotab portal. Full training will be provided to your relevant team members as part of the deployment.
How do you ensure we get value from the system, not just more data?
Our detailed assessment and strategy planning process is designed to ensure we work with you to ensure you're collecting the data that matters to your business. We align your telematics deployment to the metrics and outcomes that will truly drive value, cost or risk within your fleet.
How is my fleet's telematics data kept secure?
Data security is front of mind in every element of the solution, from the device in the vehicle through to the platform where your data is stored and accessed. The specific protocols in place will vary depending on your fleet's configuration and your requirements.
